When I was born in Panama in 1943, my grandmother witnessed my birth and held me in her arms. My parents and I left the country a couple of months after the delivery. Because I was so young. I didn’t remember what she looked like. In 1970, my grandmother appeared before me and said, “Get in touch with your mom, and talk to her about sending your jewelry back to you immediately”. I called my mother in San Diego to request these items. She agreed to send both her and my valuable items together. I was thankful that my grandmother appeared and reminded me to gather my belongings because soon after when my mother was admitted to the hospital. her house was broken into.
